Queen Anne Grade 1 Staircase

The staircase apron moulding being worked with a moulding plane, if you have never seen a moulding plane before, they are used to form different shapes in the wood by hand, by pushing wooden block which holds the sharp cutter. These generally come in sets of Hollow and Rounds.This actual plane is an early 18th century example. SASPOONER
